The seasons were shifting; fall was officially upon them. The afternoons often brought a cooler wind that faded into nights where it was a convenient excuse to snuggle down with one you cared for. As it was, Fox had a much more important reason to be thinking about the seasons and temperatures - he had five fresh reasons. He'd left the den when Aisling had brought Mariposa and Montrose to see their....Aunts and Uncles. Who were younger than them. Age was strange. After all, he had news to share. So he cut his path towards the Vale after kissing Fable's forehead, and then each of the puppies, and then Aisling's, and then the twins in turn.

It took a long time to say his goodbye's to everyone.

The Kali male had every intention to be home in a couple hours, maybe with some kind of fresh meal for his wife, because the further his paws took him from the den the more he just wanted to turn around and go right back. Somehow it almost felt wrong to be telling anyone other than his Mothers, Epona, and Alistair first, Shiloh was Fable's brother. And sometimes he was scary. But the Lion had not slain him yet, instead, they had brokered some sort of peace and camaraderie in light of their feelings towards.....a certain other male in Talamh. Even though there had been some friction given that Tiberii had not also been stolen to Talamh.

Now though, as his gaze rose to the heights of the mountains that towered over the Vale, it was different. Foxglove could ramble and rave, but all he wanted to do was scale his way to the peak so that he could shout their good news to the world itself. He was content enough to at least howl for Shiloh directly rather than rush up to Frostfang's mountain. He would have been miserable in the cold at the peak while he proclaimed to the world his joy - and it would be worth it. He would be overjoyed for it. First, though, was breaking the news to the closest family member Fable had beyond their Blushed Meadows.

He didn't have to wait long for Shiloh, and that was not surprising. He'd always thought the Red Lion the type to throw himself into action sometimes, perhaps, before his thoughts even had a chance to finish forming in his head. Shiloh always gave the impression of someone who was very sure of where he was going. Like an arrow, Shiloh could be set in motion and would not stop until his target was hit. Whether that went well or not was another matter entirely, but with confidence, Foxglove knew the Lion would figure it out.

Sometimes that meant that they had not always meshed easily, although the night that they'd gotten drunk together on berries at the tournament and shit-talked Archon into the ground was a very fond memory. He wouldn't do that so freshly with Fable at that point, and he hadn't thought it was exactly appropriate with the kids as little as they had been. Even now, Foxglove didn't shy away if Archon's name came up - but Fox couldn't remember when he had come up.

Seeing Shiloh approach and the wag of his tail made Foxglove's grin grow. Hey Shiloh! Fox's tail wagged as well, green eyes drifting over the other male quickly. He looked like he didn't have any injuries, so that was good. I managed to sneak out and let Fable and Aisling have some girls time. He explained. It was obvious that there was more, and that Fox was doing his best to not just blurt it all out to him. I hope everyone's doing well, things have been good in the meadow too - ah Okay, he just couldn't help it anymore. Fable gave birth - three boys, two girls, they're beautiful. Foxglove had the look on his face of a proud parent, of a proud partner. Fable did great - they were born on Mabon. Which Foxglove knew he didn't need to explain to his brother-in-law how auspicious that was.

It took us two litters to match you and Tiberii - I can't imagine how big the kids have gotten just since the wedding. He continued on, before he caught himself. Sorry - that was a lot. He knew, and was quiet to give Shiloh the opportunity to absorb the news he'd just heard.
