Hello Vivarium!
With the (very) soon launch of our new Awards/Skills system on the horizon, we’ve decided to cut the wait period short for our next moderator rotation.
Speaking of which - when Vivarium first launched, our original team consisted of 5 admins and 2 rotating moderators. In light of Viv’s growth and expanding features, we would like to return to this number!
We're happy to announce that after months of working together and growing as a team, Sonia and I have asked if Rem, Tskani and Boo would be comfortable staying on as part of our admin crew, and they’ve accepted.
They have demonstrated a willingness to put in the time, work, and emotional effort, as well as having repeatedly displayed the ability to remain impartial and fair across every variety of situation.
These are all important and necessary traits for anyone on staff, and frankly, we couldn’t have done any of this without them.
Welcome aboard Rem Tskani and boo!
With that said, we’re ready to get back on track with rotating mods!
The way this process will work is by clicking the link attached and filling out the provided form to submit yourself as a candidate. We’ll leave this up for a full week before closing submissions for review, then choose a handful of candidates for the community to vote on and thus decide the final results.
This process will be repeated every six months, which will allow a steady flow of fresh ideas and new personalities to cycle through.
