Lotus was curled between her sisters, sleeping peacefully until her mothers voice woke her, tempted by the call for sleep, she grumbled as someone nosed at her body. Forcing her to open her eyes and watch as her older sister took off. Looking around, blinking slowly she realized both her mother and older sister were gone. Leaping to her feet she took off after them.

She skidded to a stop before the portal before her. Eyes growing wide. She’d never seen anything like this before. Cocking her head to the side she moved closer. Sniffing. She could tell her mother and sister had gone through it. Tentatively she too took the plunge, and came out in a winter wonderland. Squinting her eyes she looked around.
