With her wound healing nicely, Mullock has ventured from Jaxxon's side for the mere purpose of boredom. She is fond of him, surely, but there is a natural desire for solitude among the ranks of the feline. She cannot be within his grasp at all times. And besides, now that her hind leg is moving better, she would like to hunt for herself. There is a deep tradition of taking lives that she must adhere to, for all must know the taste of death at some point.

Even she, with her three times three lives, will one day cease to be. And she welcomes it with open arms.

But perhaps, not this day. She stops at the base of a tree, looking up at the birds within. Carefully, she begins chirping along with them, her voice mimicking the patterns. Perhaps they will hear her call and resolve to make her job easy. But rarely they do. Rather, this makes them less likely to flee until it is too late.
