But why did she have to sit here of all places on this entire mountain range?!
It urked him, rubbing him the wrong way entirely. Such a burning annoyance was growing in the pit of his stomach that it was becoming more and more difficult to push away. He was trying, more than he normally would. He really wasn't in the mood for such dramatics but if she pushed him, he'd blow.
A couple more birds danced in front of the him amongst the backlit oranges of the sky, their silhouettes doing the walts in the wind. Seconds felt like minutes as he watched them before they dispersed into the canopy below. Awkwardly, he glanced at his sibling, spying a glassiness to her eyes.
His lip twitches momentarily as he shifts his weight and inches away from the child. He wasn't about to do this here, couldn't she just leave?
