The yearling perked up, Ebisu fluttered from the darkness of the den. Leaping up next to Chisuke as the brother  stood to his paws. An ache was felt on his hips, but it was better than what it had started as.. And man, his head.

His head never got much better. But he just lied his way away from the truth. Trying to get away from the annoying nagging people. Yet he watched carefully how everyone tended to him. At least.. when he was awake. Why wouldn't you be? It was still a shock to him. But he couldn't see why he'd neglect his brother's presence. Even if it ticked him off.

Rinon was still useful to him. Could provide strength in numbers if he so needed it. And yet.. All he remembers was being slammed by the large cat. Nothing more drug back to him. Only bits of conversation he couldn't piece together. Almost like it had its own blackness.
