It wasn't long before the hunter and gatherer found his sibling. The paler form of Cassius always stood out to him, his golden brother bringing a smile to his face, even though he was carefully clutching the moonstone he'd found for Cassius. Rather than put his prize down he instead kept it clutched in his teeth as he leaned against his sibling for a moment, shoulder to shoulder. The tactile reminder of them and just the solidarity made him feel more grounded and better, but his siblings had always had that effect on him.
He finally took a step back and placed the stone down between them. In the light, there was a flash of the beautiful blue on the surface of the stone, the paler edges of the stone showing more of the same coloration that Cassius had on his flanks down to his belly.
I saw this and thought of you, Cass.Isaiah explained with a little grin.
Second I saw the flash it made me think of your eyes.It gave him a feeling of peace - something that he always accredited to Cassius too.
