Cassius watched with a softness to his face as his brother came closer. His darker counterpart was holding on to something shiny, the light of the midday caught the stone in such a way that he saw a glimpse of pretty colors bouncing off of it. Isaiah came closer, resting against him in an affectionate lean. It made him feel warm and welcomed, calmer in a way that only his siblings could provide for him. Just as quickly as the warmth entered his body however, it left him just as soon.
The sweetness of his brother's eyes still remained though as he went to put down his prized jewel. The blue sheen of the stone shimmered at him, revealing a part of its true beauty. Aw thank you, Isaiah. It's really beautiful.
Cassius smiled a soft and gentle smile, his tail wagging lightly as he gazed upon the gem. A gift for your brother?
Or was this just show and tell? Not that Cassius minded. After all he would relish in any moment of innocence that he could grasp these days.
