Yuka's ears momentarily pointed forward in surprise. A part of her didn't truly expect anyone to be present. Still, the initial shock was short-lived, and the feline returned to her fastidious inspection of the midnight sky.
The massively long tail returned to its position against her paws. 'All that's up there is stars.'
...they're beautiful, aren't they? She hummed quietly, watching the scattered forms of far-away celestial bodies.
Each with their own presence...so small, yet so bright.Yuka didn't seem to mind her own eccentric words. She knew she was probably a tad off her rocker—perhaps it was those abhorrent berries or even the lack of her daytime naps.
Perhaps this was just how she was.
Don't you ever take the time to look and appreciate them, dear? She asked, already anticipating a hard no. But that didn't stop her benevolent words, nor did it halt a lingering desire to teach this youth to be grateful for such trivialities—but perhaps that was wishful thinking.
