A new life... in some ways, that is what it is, isn't it?
Cvetka let out a deep sigh. Her chin nestled down against her forelimbs and her eyelids fluttered, threatening to shut—though she certainly couldn't sleep. Not now.
A new life is not what Cvetka grieved—in fact, she was grateful for the opportunities that would now present themselves to her. Yet... she could not help but wonder what all happened before her accident, before her injury, before she landed in Mythris.
Was she happy? Was her life better? There was nothing to compare the occurrences to. What could constitute as good? What as bad? The woman had no way to know.
The wolfdog sighed, forced a smile upon her lips.
Unlike her happiness, the sentiment was not feigned. Perhaps if she could merely find more like herself—foreigners of another land, all who'd inadvertently come across this world and are no longer able to return...
Then, maybe, she would not be ostracized as she was so horrified.
