Nestled at the foothills of low-reach mountains, a rocky outcropping cradles a tranquil lake. Crystalline waters do not waver; the glassy surface reflects a perfect mirror image of the sparse trees that have rooted here. The water is unusually azure, almost tropical in appearance despite the mountainous climate. The stillness and serenity truly offer a respite to weary travelers who have found this haven in their wanderings. The noise of a distant waterfall sounds somewhere nearby, and despite the calm that lingers here… there are many secrets to be discovered if one looks closely enough.

She shifted a little bit, trying to remain comfortable with an injured paw. The smile that she did show for a moment helped to ease some of his fears, though he knew that it wasn't going to last. Maybe she didn't want to move on from her past. Cyrus thought for a moment, taking her question to heart. I used to be something else, different from a wolf. I was a human, a two legged. I lived in a desert and stole to survive. I was just a young kid back then, and ran into the wrong crew. I was killed and ended up being reborn here. That's when I met this pack and they took me in after I explored more of this world. It's had its challenges being here, but overall, I would say that I am happy. Add or minus a few things of course.
