The smaller male cowered beneath her gaze, the heat of amythyst rolling down the bridge of her nose and boring into him. Sreda would flick her tufted ears, unrelenting in her gaze before she finally puffed a small sigh.
It's okay, she conceded after a moment, her voice still sharp despite the forgiveness. That was strange. Sreda didn't usually ... forgive so easily. The witchy woman would turn her muzzle, noting the flourishing path of strange flowers that expanded infinitely behind them.
Something about the sight ... softened her.
It was almost against her will.
She smiled.

It was strange, almost robotic and mechanical, the way her lips moved and twisted into an unusual position. Sreda never smiled. But there was something almost otherworldly forcing it, the sight of the glass flowers promoting an unusual and uncomfortable warmth to blossom in her chest.
It was almost painful.
And not in the way she was used to.
Sreda would scrunch her face, trying to put the forsaken smile away as she gazed toward her clumsy counterpart.
There are more, she would state, flicking her muzzle toward the path as if in indication of where they should go.
Come with me.She would raise a brow at him, her face finally settling back into a firm and more natural line.
Do what you want, but leave some of them intact, would you?Sreda would turn her body, angling it toward the path and beginning the journey down the strange path, unaware of what might appear at the end of their trail.
