She had been trying to hunt the little hare nibbling about over the melting snow—days have gone by since she first landed here with a tumble. The days of questioning 'who' and 'what' and when' were over. And now, she hat to survive these foreign lands without starving to death—or being attacked by some kind of competitor. Whichever came first.

Body low to the ground, she snuck forward. She moved silently like an owl in flight, eyes fixed on the small prey as it shuffled to and fro. Heart pounding in anticipation, she prepared herself to leap forward.

Then—

'Hello?' Gone is the rabbit, and Kaelan's hunt along with it. Huh...? Her ears swiveled back, pinning to her nape. 'Prey can rest for I shall not hunt; predator can pass for I have no meat.' Is this guy kidding?

Amber eyes shifted over the wintry landscape, seeking out the source of the poetic entrance with a seething frown pursed upon her lips. Then, she finally caught sight of the flash of blonde, slender and sleek, against the backdrop of wan foliage. Kaelan grunted in ire. Hey! Hey, you!! She barked.

Onwards marched the she-wolf, halting towards the towering presence of golden tresses and boisterous announcements. You ruined my hunt, she snapped, You better make up for that. Albeit, with the lithe nature of his frame, he appeared to not exactly be a great source of food.
