When her gaze of frosted wisteria made contact with a shade of cherry blossom, the hackles along her ink-stained back rose. An intruder; yet the scent of the island lingered within their pelt as if they’d been familiar with its contents – just how long had she been near the shore? Her expression was flat, for the most part. Void of any sign of feeling besides her lowering quills.
The girl appeared to be of youthful age. Tall, willowy and ghost-like. She was but a child; and if it weren’t for this and her meek demeanor, she would’ve been seen as more of a threat.
You haven’t disturbed me, but are you aware you are trespassing? She explained calmly, yet sternly. Even so, Izumi would give the girl a chance to explain herself before jumping to conclusions. For all she knew, it could've been an accident.
She stayed silent, observing the girl from a distance while waiting for her to say her piece.
