The girl writhed, nose to tail, with ill-contained joy. Solulfur arched a brow at the display, watching pattering front paws scatter once-carefully arranged flowers. She halted a few feet from the puppy, waiting for the apparent initial excitement to wear itself out so the girl could speak without her wiggles trying to snap her in half.

Solulfur grinned toothily, tossing her head to let her freshly-groomed silver strands sway and catch the sunlight.
