He blinked, confused. She blinked back, equally confused. He could almost see the gears in her head turning, the slow realization widening her eyes, and he giggled, mirth crinkling his face. That seemed to startle her, because suddenly he was on the ground and she was outside and the rain was getting her wet. That wasn't good.
