The wilderness seemed at rest. No wind—everything stagnant. The stillness of the air made tracking difficult, much to Lugh's frustration.
Empty-handed and bored, the fiery red child sauntered back towards the dens. By this point, maybe he would have to resort to playing with Illithya or Aisling—a last-ditch effort, considering neither of them seemed to be as interested in watching bugs crawl about the leaves as he was.
The boy yawned, battering his head to clear himself of some absent-minded reverie. Two-toned eyes scanned over the ground—no one around.
No one besides... the strange little babies who seemingly appeared out of nowhere. There were 6 of them—or was it 5? 7? Something like that. Aisling was far more interested in their sudden appearances than he was. She wanted nothing more than to play with them—yet, they could hardly even babble a word...
Lugh huffed quietly and sat a few strides away from them. His nose twitched—that and the way his eyes snapped towards them every few heartbeat betrayed the modicum of interest that lingered in the back of his mind.
