Aye!she chirped, motioning with one paw to her latest snow animal whose face was only half slumped to the ground. It was a pale and feeble replica of what the had been treated to back home by the fae, but it was one of her latest masterpieces.
I'm makin' snow animals,Aisling explained brightly.
I found all kinds o' pretty stones, so all o' them are different - just like all th' wolves here.
There were wolves sporting every type of coat imaginable - some were rather understated with their grizzled or pale coats, but others had more complex and unique appearances. A few even lacked body parts, like ears and tails... Aisling hadn't seen anything like that before. It had inspired her to try and do much the same with her menagerie of snow critters. They were all vaguely the same shape, but some ears were small and others large or missing entirely, a few with misshapen muzzles and others less so. Their "tails" were sticks of varying lengths and compositions.
Do ye wanna help me?she asked, unable to keep the hopeful quality from entering her gaze.
