The rain had awakened the soil, drawing out the scents of wolves he had yet to meet and creatures he didn't know the look or name of and fragrant flowers and driftwood and salty sea breeze. He wanted to ask about them, his head shooting up toward Bragi immediately, but there was someone with her. He must've snuck up behind them while his nose was in the dirt! Clever, veeery clever.
He eyed the newcomer warily as he slunk back around to weave himself between Bragi's legs, turning his little nose skyward to give him a tentative sniff. Was this another dad? He certainly looked the part. Half of him, at least.
