the shocked racharra hoists herself with no help beyond stardust's words, and it is as the midnight woman says — the stench of death clogs the air and if racharra were not used to it, she surely would've suffocated from it. bodies of all kinds litter, and the woman wastes little time making sure she is not one of them.

panting, ache returns to the ogre woman, head hung low. the calls of the river still linger, but she could ignore it.

in the time spent escaping it, racharra realizes she'd never even spoken to the woman beyond her stumbled greeting. how rude of her — though she's been a wolf for the past few months, she was still raised a noblewoman for many more. settling again, tired but golden eyes meet the striking icy blues of her rescuer. thank you.. and beyond the dark woman's shoulders lies a whole new world. it is now she realizes that her feet meet soft grass, instead of sand or rocks. i'm sorry for not saying it sooner..! she gave a soft chuckle.
