Divined by a variety of diverse trees, it is a serene land like that of a painting for those who cross the crown. Plentiful in its bounty, streams roam through as it diverges the remnants of old medieval remains, columns and stairs, thrones and decor, lost civilization buried in the growth. Within its depth is the king that holds the throne, a grand ruler, an elk who guards this sacred forest alongside the herd that lives within its depths.

The elk's life ebbed away before his eyes, her breath leaving silently as he held on tightly. Just a bit of blood flowed down his mouth, going down further into his throat as he swallowed. As soon as he knew it was all over, the black death let go of his quarry. The transformation from killer to friend soon came to pass as he looked upon the silent woman once more.
Not the way I expected us to run into each other again. But I'm glad that we did. Gekirin did a sheepish smile, attempting to catch his breath as he spoke. Sorry if I caught you off guard. Yes, it was her alright. It had to be. He wouldn't forget a face like that, the eyes of someone very much an enigma. But would she let him in more?
