The heat is oppressive; why are you out in the desert in the middle of the day? You grow weary, and as you walk ... you see them. The virga clouds, reaching downward toward the sands below as if to touch them. As the sands and clouds swirl together in the heat of the desert, you see the strange blue figures now lined up before you. You cannot quite make out what sort of beasts they are, at least not on first glance. They mirror the shape of the wolf, and yet they are the size of a bear with indiscernible facial features. They line up, steady on the horizon, and you feel yourself grow tense. Do you need to protect yourself from these creatures? Or will you lead a fight?
