Juniper could see the whites of those cyan eyes and she inwardly chastised herself. Now she had done it.
Oh! I'm sorry if the thought is uncomfortable. I've only meant it as an "if," truly.
Juniper's brow turned upwards and offered Stardust a pained smile. Could the night-cloaked woman see how their ears burned? They had meant no harm, but Juniper was grateful that Stardust carried the conversation elsewhere.
A tiger?Juniper had not heard of such a creature before, their brow furrowed.
Bigger than a cougar...is it even bigger than a bear? Oh and what kind of bear, if yes.If yes... that would be an absolutely massive cat. Currently Juniper conjured the largest cougar to ever exist within their minds eye, only with stripes superimposed onto it. What a shock a real tiger would be to the young wolf.
This is a strange land if it can change animals. It was a preposterous notion, and Juniper hoped for both hers and Stardust's sakes that whoever met was pulling the larger woman's tail. You had one life, and that was that. What did that mean then, for those animals that are preyed upon? And those that ate them?
Juniper did not want to spiral within her own mind, and lent her ear happily as Stardust elaborated on the nature of dream walking. The process sounded scary, and almost... almost like what they were experiencing currently actually. But that couldn't be the case, right? You did not feel hurt in dreams, or at least Juniper never felt pain in her own dreams. Stardust then described something even more familiar, causing the young wolf's jaw to drop.
I— I think I had the same dream... There was a voice, and it talked you outright, didn't it?!
