It was only the third look down the way was a step taken, unwilling to be left behind. Scratching, fumbling each elongated limb down the slide over paws too fat and rigid to be used elegantly yet. Standing when it leveled, airy laughter with no vocal noise peered back at the drop, shaking off the fear of making a first dive.
