scraping the back of her mind, she remembered mentions of a tsukuyomi in passing between old friends of her mother. scraping harder, she remembered he was the god of the moon, but he was a guy. guys could still paint themselves, though, and she wasn't about to throw a rock into the story she and the children were building!
the moon is a bad painter.she chuckles to kyoami, catching a glimpse of kaede and layre sharing in the strange sight.
she's not very dexterous but still wishes to paint herself. usually, she picks a color to match him, but perhaps the sun hadn't been giving her the admiration she wished so she picked red for tonight. i don't think she realizes that the sun likes her best as she is.
