Misora had worked up the courage to try, and one day she just spoke. Broken up little words at first, but eventually led to more and more. Then she became more distant out of seemingly no where, and he was left partially frustrated and broken. Before he knew it, Gekirin was out on his own seeking something else that could fill the void she left behind.
What sounded like a hearty chuckle escaped her lips, right behind a click of her teeth. She was a very expressive woman if nothing else. A quality that he had come to admire and appreciate in the chocolate woman. Gekirin smiled back at her, that weird fluttering beginning in his chest again though he opted to cast it aside.
No sense in getting attached just yet. After all, nothing in this world was forever. Nothing in this world was guaranteed. The forgotten prince took to eating more of their shared meal once more, tossing the once complicated emotions to the wind as he learned to just appreciate what they shared in this very moment.
