Tyr smiled, closing his eyes as Cupid pressed his forehead to the god's. It grounded him, the sensation of tranquility washing through him. His heart was a flutter and his mind was quiet, contented by the swan before him that calmed the raging seas within him.
Cupid deserved the world and Tyr had struggled for far too long to give it to him.
Now...he uttered, his warm breath but a whisper,
I can't have you out in the open can I? What would the children think?a soft laugh rolled out of him, and then it ached. He needed to tell Cupid what he felt, he knew that, but there was a hesitance that made him pause. IT wasn't right to keep taking advantage of the man before him, not after everything they'd been through.
