Speech Emotional Actions Thoughts

It was routine at this point; every once in a while, during the darkest hours, he seemed to get trapped within his own thoughts. Trapped away in the worry, even if Ma tried to soothe his worries once in a while, it never helped when he seemed to question tiny details, like how his siblings had taken straight to being violent, whilst he physically was repulsed by the idea of mutilating things. He also often questioned the memories; despite Ma explaining that many have lives from before their current one, he still wanted to know why these ones made him dizzy and confused.

Tonight was no different; he lay by Idalie, something that had become routine as well. He sat at her side, feeling her back against his legs. He wasn't sure if she was asleep or not but didn't dare move away, just sat staring silently at his paws and gazing across the den where his parents and siblings slept. Why could they fit into the "normal" he'd seen, but he couldn't? He was Saxe, no? Ma even said he was; he was her spark, her Khyan, but he didn't feel it, didn't feel that burn of adrenaline when he hunted, and didn't feel that warmth flood his gut tasting blood.

A heavy breath escaped him, a paw lifting to rub at his eyes; feeling his muzzle was a little damp, he quickly rubbed it dry against the side of his paw. Slowly, he lowered himself to lie beside Idalie, staring out the den at the clouds that still hung heavy no matter what. Did he have something waiting out there? A destiny? somewhere that he'd fit in better at?
