Altair didn't mind the quiet, it was peaceful, but the quiet with not even a peep of an animal had his skin crawling like he had bugs under his skin, and he personally hated it. So to keep himself distracted, he set a soft trot and a light hum, an old tune his own mother used to sing. It was soothing to his mind, but didn't help him being alone, his mind briefly drifted to the Lady of Ignis, tail swaying slowly in a wag.

He didn't even hear the approaching paws of a wolf, lost in his thoughts and where his paws stepped. Briefly he paused to sniff, barely able to smell much past the smell of the strand, heavy in his nostrils, and only when a flash of fur came into his vision did he snap back to reality, a snarl ripping from his throat at first at the intrusion of his path and the challenging stance of the other but he quickly calmed, hackles smoothing over seeing the familiar pelt.

Lady of Ignis..

His voice came softer, but still rough and focused in his chest. Slowly he stepped closer, sniffing at the air around her, smell the other scents on her and hummed faintly. he saw the wink, saw her grin and the high wave of her tail but he was focused on just her, nothing else.

Honestly? yeah, mountains got pretty boring, very quick.
