When the dream came, Toska was terrified, his entire body shivered at the howls of pain and the screams from the hurt. The wolves..were they wolves? They were all, wrong. They didn't really look like wolves entirely, and it made Toska cringe in on himself. He felt horrible for the wolf who had been trapped, been remade into something else he probably never wanted at all.

When he woke, and the doors settled in, Toska hurriedly stood, standing terrified there at them, he didn't have Abaddon right now, didn't know what door to go through, he couldn't remember which was which but he eventually stepped through the door that lead to the mix of wolves singing sweet howls, and one who screamed her heart out. It was..a contrast to say the least.

For a moment, he wanted to scream to, to yell at this world for taking him but he had to remind himself, he came here. He had walked through the door of his bedroom willingly that lead here, he couldn't be angry, not at all, but it still..pissed him off he was a dog. He also knew the moment he started screaming, he'd cry, he'd break down with no way to console himself into anything else for days, and he really, really didn't want to explain to anyone that his feelings got to be 'too much'.

So, Toska resorted to a howl, mournful and soft as he tilted his head back, soft but filled with emotions he couldn't quite describe. His devotion to Abaddon, his fear of this world and it's magic that never seems to stop showing itself, he wanted to go home, even if it meant going back to abuse but also, he was the freest he's ever been before. He could hum to himself and now get scolded for being 'too loud'.

Shortly, his howl deepened into a brief anger, one towards the magic, he hated this magic, it was the devils doing, as mother said, but it..helped, sometimes, like the fires, the fires that didn't burn the island down like other fire would.
