Offering little in the way of acknowledgement beyond the quirk of his brow. It failed to intrigue her the way his earlier suspicions had. "Gekirin? That's a new one," she said, letting the name sit upon her tongue a moment the way one might sample an unfamiliar food; she hummed. Interesting. Without really meaning to, she laughed—not particularly or with a whole lot of mirth, but it's enough that her maw split for a grin. "Colder climates and the north ain't the same, close though. I come from where there ain't no valleys. Just snow and ice and flat tundra for miles and miles," she told him this enthusiastically. It wasn't often she got to speak of her home. "Difficult huntin' s'just par for the course."
On swift paws, she bounced forward, closing the distance just enough to assess him better. He's large but not all that heavy which meant he could still make for a pretty good runner where a hunt's concerned. Vivian's eyes drifted along his shoulders, sides, then met his sun-touched gaze. "I'll tell ya' what, babe, I ain't too hungry but I'll help ya' hunt. Call it a favor? I scratch your back, you come scratch mine one day?" It's a simple proposition and not the first of its kind she's made, nor the last. "Smelled a deer trail a mile or so back. S'aint the strongest but I got all evenin' for some trackin' if you do."
