Nemo was surprised how quickly the wolf seemed to adapt to being in a new land; he was already hunting! Though, they supposed he didn't arrive quite like she did... y'know, falling from the heavens and all. Nothing seemed worse than that. The stranger dispatched the crab right before she let him know she was watching, looking over in what she could only describe as neutrally. They waved their tail at him amicably. She wouldn't bite!
Aw yeah, I guess so? I've been here a few months.
She said, a little caught off guard. No greeting, no nothing? Straight to the point wasn't the worst sort she could get, though, so she'd take it. All I know is you can't leave, there's this weird dude that keeps showing up in my dreams, and there seems to be a kind of magic in the air.
They still didn't quite know what to do about the wolf she kept seeing when she slept, but it was probably nothing. It wasn't like the world was splitting apart, or anything (it was).
It's definitely the strangest place I've been.
They told him. It's been nasty cold lately, hard to find food.
Though he seemed to be doing alright...
