Ever the dutiful wife, Valkyrie was instantly at his side the moment the brute stirred. Though still filled with immense pain, Jökull did his best to be brave and strong for her. Looking and sounding weak were things that he had tried so hard to stay away from. Yet it always seemed to find him no matter what path he took.
There was a lot of exhaustion and frustration in his voice. A look of almost shame in his eyes that didn't want to go away.
Just wish this leg was better. I want to get us home, back to Dawnbreak.

On the plus side, this world has gone back to normal. I'm also just glad that you are alright.The dark faced man did his best to reach her, to press his nose into her as best he could. What he wouldn't give to show her how much she meant to him right now.
