Through the creeping woods and rolling mist, a large castle stands far above the forest. Abandoned now with only a gate for an entrance and a few dilapidated holes through the stonework, one can tell that life here had once been luxurious and easy, but now the empty castle holds only dust and cobwebs, slowly falling to ruin. There is a rumor of a secret dungeon that now lies exposed somewhere within the great river the castle guards - and still another that says it once held a terrible beast that now lurks within those same waters.

Jökull felt lucky to have a woman such as her by his side. A deep heavy sigh of contentment left his lips as she leaned into him, just enough to share in his space and rest her tired body. Her eyes remained on his for a moment, those dazzling shades of gold staring up at him with utmost admiration. He didn't know what he had done to deserve her, but he was grateful none the less.
Hopefully we can find someone to help with my leg, then we can get home. There is so much I want to do with you, for you. Another small wince as more faint pain came up his leg. Then it subsided just as quickly, so Jökull did his best to hide the pain from her. Better that then worry her further. But it did scare him, the feeling of helplessness and immobility. When was it going to end?
