Goldblossom stilled, and Nen'tah's head was tilted inquisitively to the side as he approached. His movements were careful, if clumsy given his young age; one day he would surely move with catlike grace, but the boy was still coming to terms with fine motor control and four large, unwieldy paws.
She was very nice, he thought. He bent down to inspect the proferred herbs, lingering first over the violet, then the dandelion in turn as he slowly and methodically took in their different scents. The violet had an almost woody aroma, he thought curiously; the dandelion possessed a more pronounced scent with notes of citrus and honey, though mostly it just smelled like greenery and wet dirt.
Nen'tah lifted his head and flickered his gaze meaningfully toward each herb, a questioning look in his expression when he returned it to Goldblossom.
