It was an odd thing, to wake where you did not think you laid to sleep before. He felt perhaps it was simply exhaustion which had caused him to get a mixed up. Oakley couldn't quite complain, he loved the ocean. Most types of bodies of water really.
The woman down the beach was quite. Not so much dismissive entirely, but didn't seem all that interested in his presence. Calm, serene, like a siren in her element who would not be disturbed. He decided to approach more softly then, taking long strides into her direction with a tail low, waving gently at his hocks.
Can't say I quite remember how I got here but, it's rather nice.Stopping not far from her, he takes a seat the same, facing towards the water. It was clear and shallow out into the surf for quite a stretch, revealing a large, colorful reef. Of course he had seen plenty in his life, but not in this magnitude and with such vibrancy.
