Enjoying the cool water on its skin, Iðunn let the water continue to soak into its thick fur, even if it weigh it down. It was a simple pleasure that was soon ruined, its higher body temperature warming the water almost immediately. Huffing, it shook without bothering to make sure Larke was clear of the spray. It was just water. He would dry.

Anywhere, he said. It was not a bad perspective to have. Being unbothered about the location one called home was something Iðunn wished he could experience at some points. It wasn't easy living so high up, especially in the colder months, hence why it's stomach was concaved beneath it's fur. Perhaps with its fur slicked back, it would show more clearly, but it did not bother to check. It did not care how it looked. It would gain body weight now the weather had improved.

Mountain. It repeated. The mountains were the only place it enjoyed, though it knew it would enjoy the journey to a mountain range. While it disliked the flat plains that were common where it was born, it enjoyed a towering forest, and rolling hills. It was usually enough change in scenery before it reached another range to conquer.

It's yellow eyes, which had strayed from the pale man, slid back over immediately as Larke mentioned travelling together. How interesting. Iðunn knew nothing about Larke, and vice versa, and yet he was offering his permanent company. Was this for some ulterior motive, or perhaps a fear of being entirely alone? Why? He said, phrased like a question, but said like a statement. Iðunn had never had a travelling companion, so why would it need one now?
