There was a softness to Lykaon, akin to Amaris', empathetic to the Daystar. When she recoiled, he stopped briefly. When he noticed her limping, he sprang into action to meet her more than halfway. As weighed down as she felt with exhaustion and worry for her loved ones, she felt a little lighter upon being seen and fretted about.
Lykaon's nose prodded close to the air around her, though she didn't mind, basking in the warm glow of someone's attention.
I'm alright. I've just been... Running for a while now...As if on queue, her thigh muscle cramped, and she was forced into a sit, stretching her back right leg.
Eugh...She really did need to rest.
'Then a friend you get.' Lunar eyes would soften slightly, reminded fondly of why she found the brown ebbing of his aura, so warm to be around.
You always seem to be helping me... Thank you, again.
The woman perked up a little bit more when he offered one of the many squirrels that lined his back, still as good a hunter as ever. She had to swallow to keep from outwardly salivating (which would not be attractive nor polite).
Uh! No, I'm very hungry, actually.Anticipated worry filled her voice as his offer was almost rescinded with the notion that she may not be hungry.
The bow of his head made her smile more; again, that bright star in her chest shone. It was brief, her stomach growling and unable to keep herself from snatching a squirrel close, eyes drawn back up as he mentioned going off to find some cobwebs for her wounds. Oh, he knew a little about healing, too. Aelia's head tilted in thought. That was good to know.
Okay, I'm sure they won't be too far off. There was a soft coo to her voice, though she knew as soon as he stepped away, she'd be tearing and gulping down the food he'd offered her. And she was trying her best to not look like a complete, uncouth mess.
