Wardruna's children grew. It meant she had more free reign to return to her duties as Queen now that they slowly began to explore bother further from the den and longer. It was upsetting. Wardruna was content to spend every waking moment with her rough-housing children (Kvitrafn had smacked the milk teeth from Roskva's face and she missed it!) but knew it herself she would have to give them space if they were to grow, to become perhaps one day as great, strong and wise as their grandparents before them. (Wardruna felt she was still very much learning)
The call she does not know, when she hears it, yet calls back to the visitor anyhow in order to give passage. So that they find comfort deeper into the pine forestry at their foothills where there was the visitor dens and out from the sweeping cold of open tundra. Of course, it was summer! Wardruna laughs at her thoughts. That is right, the sun had finally returned and the world wasnt falling apart anymore! Northfall's summer was pleasant and mind, warm, yet not hot. For those who still sought the cold and snow, they had only need climb their heights.
As she draw nearer, their forms were still hidden in the woodland but their scent was not. A sniff would tell her these wolves were Dawnbreak - ally, loosely, more or less. It would be good to see them. To see how they all faired after such a big fucking worldly mess.
Snaps of twigs and crunching leaves give the large woman away. She was far from the silent predator as Sreda. She boofs in greeting, drawing their attention as she moves through the pine forest towards them.
Wolves of Dawnbreak! Welcome to Northfall!
There was a tall, thick man marked with sharp patterns and colors that reminded her somewhat of her nephew Ezra. Next to her, a slight little woman who only made the man seem larger. Wara had seen this wolf before, when the northern skies first rained down poisonous, purple snow on them. She had seen the same face in another yet with green eyes, when they were caught in winter storms. Now, golden eyes again. Surely this woman didnt have the ability to change her eyes on command. They must be twin. Her father had been twin too.
I hope your visit brings good news after so much… well, shit. She tosses her head to spat at the thought of it all, finally done and gone - so she hoped!
