With a growing sense of adventure, Fionnuala had found herself further from her usual haunts of Sparrow's Overpass. Her travels through the thick forests were guided by distant scents of saltwater and sand - the forests turning into marshlands, coves, and beaches. The air was thicker with salt here, the birds in the air now filled with seagulls rather than songbirds.
Her pale coat would glisten in the noon sun, her gaze examining the beach with glee and excitement. Along the shoreline were sand pipers, averting the coming waves before hastily running out to pick at the wet sand for their dinner. The warm sand dug into her paw pads as she would trot along the beach, tail high behind her in a delightful wag. She had never been to a place like this before, and everything was new and thrilling - a stark difference to the wooded forests she usually found herself in.
Pale pink nose would crinkle at the scent of another wolf, her head quick to quirk around her in search for the origin of the scent - further along the sands she would trek, pausing as she would begin to make out a figure in the distance.
It was definitely was a canid she could make out - their coat a mixture of deep steel blues and grey, around his shoulders laid a thick bundle of seaweed carrying a collection from the beaches and sea; a variety of sea life, shells, and the like.
Hesitantly moving forward, Fionnuala would call out to the wolf.
