Well thank the gods for that. She said with a sigh of relief. Wardruna was completely at ease that she would not have to fight a bear in order to try and save Raisa. That hadn't worked out too well for her father and well, Sreda had already claimed the position of the partner with the one good eye. … Did Wardruna just say partner in her thoughts!?
And a mother!? Wardruna hadn't expected a bear for a mother, for sure she knew Raisa's father was a tiger and she hadn't ever actually met her mother but… wait a minute no, her mother definitely had to at least be canine- Raisa was canine! Wardruna thought using the tree to have babies was wild enough, but creating babies between different species!? Well, love was blind they say. (So wait does that mean there is more of a chance for Sreda to love her now??)
I am glad you've finally reunited after such a long winter…Wardruna followed Raisa's path along the slopes of the ravine as she said that her mother would now join her here. Wardruna didn't even realize, but she said nothing on the matter. To Wardruna, there was not a question of if Shreya could stay or not with her family.
Plenty of caves with damn good views she can choose from next winter's coming.
Raisa, her sister and the remnants of Seiiki had come to live among the Northfallen and since then things had turned up for Raisa. She found devotion and longing in Bogart, had pups on the way and now had reunited with her mother. Internally Wardruna feared that with things so incredibly well, the once leader would want to return to her former place among the blood forest. Selfishly so, Wardruna did not want that, knowing already how deeply the woman and her sister's absence would reflect on Northfall.
