Summer: Time to tropic like it's hot!

Oh, isn't the sun wonderful? Aren't we glad to have it back?

Here are some super normal weather events Mythris inhabitants can expect to see as we move into our warm summer!

Spring showers have brought mammatus clouds to Mythris, pouch and bubble-like clouds that appear to dangle in the sky. But when you see them, you will know that there has either been a terrible thunderstorm that has just passed through or you're about to be caught in one. Stay safe!

But the thunderstorms aren't all bad! In fact, the scattered thunderstorms have hydrated the land across the region, allowing new life and old flower bulbs to begin to blossom this summer. Expect to see a TON more flowers.

Ah, but good things often come on the precipice of something bad around here, huh? Those interesting storms might have given you cool clouds to watch the sunset through, and some nice flowers to sit and smell, but the excess water comes with the very real risk of flooding basins, landslides, and even the land eroding right before your eyes! Be careful around the water embankment, and don't get too close to the edge!

Hm, strange. It also seems that the magical, colorful flames gifted by Vivarium's magic have dispersed. The only remaining hint of their existence is small patches of colored flowers that bloom in the respective color of the flame that once burned there.

These flowers, like the flames before them, do seem to have some residual ... interesting effects on the creatures of Vivarium. If you sniff too hard, or perhaps even dare to consume these strange flowers, you may start to feel one of the following effects:

The Northern Alpines (concentrating around Taiga's Promise) have purple flowers that add a gentle lift in your mood. These flowers are euphoric, akin to a buzz from fermented berries.

The Great Woodlands (concentrating around Ambrosia Range) have gold flowers that seem to make you giddy! You find almost everything just a bit funnier and lighter, and can't seem to stop yourself from laughing! It's hard to take yourself too seriously.

The Westmoor Wakes (concentrating around the Overgrowth Strand) have green flowers that seem to make you feel a bit paranoid. Are those footsteps you're hearing? Perhaps a chilling laugh? Or is it all in your head? Hm...

The Smoldering Wastes (concentrating around Skyspear) have red flowers that may strengthen your kinships (and romantic relationships), making you feel ever-fonder of those that you love.

The Spirited Highlands (concentrating around the Howling River) have blue flowers that seem to make you a bit ... introspective. Unlike the other flowers, these seem to bring a lingering sense of curious melancholy. Perhaps you can find time to sit and think deeply and meditate.

Please note that these effects are for fun and are completely optional to interact with! Feel free to enjoy these as prompts and have fun. As always, these effects cannot be used to powerplay another character or to force emotions on another player character. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the staff team!
