"Magen." The brute stated respectfully to her. He had forgotten to bring up his name in regards to the fact that she was going through enough and seemed to just need some comfort... Least that was what the brute was thinking about. One thing the male was not expecting was for the woman to degrade herself. She spoke in a way that really caught him off guard. Sure, she was mourning and going through some pain; but to think she was a 'miserable woman', was not in his thoughts or vocabulary.

"Miss Eloise, I will respect your wishes. However, don't talk down about yourself even if it's not your intention. Heck, even if it was spur of the moment, you asked me to spar with you. You're a strong, capable lass and don't let anyone tell you otherwise," He wasn't about to hear such talk, especially from someone whom never shared their full story with him. Albeit he wasn't going to press, she'd share in time if she truly desired.

"And if someone couldn't put up with you, you don't have to worry about that with me I can assure you. If someone makes you think such things, it is a problem they need to sort out within themselves." He hated when others were disrespectful to someone. Others may never know another's story, what they are going through each passing day unless someone shares those details. He had seen such heartache, disrespect and hostility in his line of work. It certainly wasn't foreign to him to be a comforter for those in his old pack who needed some guidance or a shoulder to cry on. This situation was no different, and plus it was helpful to him as he'd been alone for a while. Some form of conversation was always good no matter the situation.
