Nikolai suppressed a quiet Yes! as Stellan rose when he suddenly realized he was out in the open. If his brother saw him he'd probably go crying to Mom and Dad, and that would just ruin everything - maybe he could keep playing this game! The boy stifled another giggle as he dove into a nearby bush. If he could stay hidden, he could keep flinging rocks and watching Stellan's confusion grow.

Another figure appeared. It was one of the other kids - uhhh - Tiberii and Shiloh's, he recalled. They were all uncommonly large, save for this particular ruddy-furred girl who had just now foolishly entered his line of sight and into the firing range.

Nikolai liked the idea of multiple targets.

He waited until both their backs were turned before picking up another pebble, twisting his neck back before violently flinging it forward in a beautiful arc straight for the pair.

Hopefully it'd get one of them, but he was prepared to run either way.
