Jaxxon hadn't been able to sleep and he'd hoped the children had, so he crept away towards the borders to do a Midnight check for his Wife. Maybe she had decided to come home under the guise of Midnight, so he traipsed along them trying to pick up a new scent from her. He didn't find any, but quickly caught the scent of Magnolia rushing past him and into the night across the borders.
He blinked for a second before he took chase and raced after her. She didn't get too far away when he called out to her with a sharp bark,
Mag!He would cry, his eyes worried and bloodshot from lack of sleep. Jaxxon felt legs pump quickly below him as he attempted to try and get his daughter to slow to a stop. He hated running.
