He watched as she slowed and he did too, he trotted to catch up to her walking form and came to walk beside her. He aimed to catch his breath as she snarled a Papa, under her breath, a sound that was almost lost in Mythris' winds. He skewed up his face as her words but let them slide as he sighed and looked at her tall form. Damn she'd really grown, tall like himself and growing heavier and stockier by the day. If he weren't so concerned for her right now he might have been proud.
Watchya runnin' for?He questioned her, tilted his head to the side as the male blinked in curiosity. He had a feeling it was coming, the question of where mom went and why, he wasn't ready for it though. He smiled a little, hoping to lighten her mood with playing out a mask of his own.
He was hoping she wouldn't ask though, and he could avoid the situation and those questions entirely, but he knew better, he knew Magnolia better than that.
Come'on, stop.He'd tell her, stopping his own steps as he would wait for her to pause her own and answer his question. He wouldn't frown yet, wouldn't scowl just yet, he'd wait for that. Too early and he might scare her off.
