Things were happening in Elysium, kind of, sort of.
Her focus as always was keeping her family fed and safe, cared for. Always them.
Pennyroyal was getting more confident, he could hunt finally.
He wouldn't die if she left him for a few days.
Not that she would leave, but not having to hover within earshot of her brother was nice.
But it left her.....lost? Haunted, somewhat at least.
That big problem rising up again, who she was, what she wants in life....its an unknown. Her childhood, her teenage months, all of it had been spent taking care of her brother.
So....what was she? Beyond him? Beyond the Nightshade name, beyond the memories that haunt her, beyond the echo of her great grandmother in her voice.
Who was she.
What rank would she fill in Elysium? Once Valeska finally named her as more than an acolyte?
Their numbers are small, they need every rank....
She could be a Shadowsbane, like her mother, but the yearning for violence haunts her every action. Would it get worse if it was her sole duty? She is perhaps the best fit out of all the wolves left, and she knows Fleetwood and Nemean would both be glad she followed in their footsteps.
They need more Thornweavers as well, that much was true too, but..... she's sure her bedside manner would be worse than Harper's had been.
She does not have the touch of the spirits that would push her towards Spiritwalker, and everyone already covers what a Windseeker does.

She was currently soaked to the bone, walking the border, lost in her thoughts even as her stoic face betrayed nothing that was going on inside her mind.
Though one would probably see her out in the rain and think "that girl's not right"
