The path that may ask everything of you.

The ominous warning was not enough for the young Shakti-Vaes to make him turn back, and Isaiah drew in a heavy breath before he crossed that threshold. It was a monster. But a monster made of abandonment was something beyond their control, and which of his siblings didn't have a little tiny issue (certainly not a HUGE one) with abandonment? Isaiah had never been tethered to one spot, but he could feel with each thundering roar of anguish from the chained wolf. He licked his lips nervously, that feeling immediately hitting where the intensity almost felt too much and his brain wanted the sweet relief of sleep.

He couldn't.

He could see her, making her move, and he'd never seen Euphemia attack someone before. Frantically he started to run, throwing every scrap of himself into getting to his sisters. Because Euphemia shockingly had charged in to attack him, but Tiberii had started to try and break the chains. Shiloh and Vidarr were right there, other wolves had clustered together to fight the chains and try to break them.

He had his choice of what to do, even with slightly hazed thoughts, as the stress level just kept increasing. Isaiah knew he wanted to keep his sisters safe. He knew he wanted to help too, and threw himself next to Tiberii, joining the efforts of his pack to free the wolf that had been abandoned and imprisoned. Understanding now, Isaiah didn't know if he could actually blame him.

What if when he left, Tiberius had chained all his kids to his legacy? Whatever that might have been.

She had no idea what sorts of horrors she would find behind each door. She did not know how anyone would just so easily accept the stranger in her dreams - but what choice did she have when they happened multiple times? She could not ignore what the visitor had said, and it went against everything that she felt and knew and believed. Pragma, the devoted, the enduring - she had been raised amongst siblings who had all been some form of love or another with parents who had been almost disgustingly in love. There were some bonds that should not be broken, and Pragma could not ignore the bitter taste of guilt as it radiated off the visitor. The third door was the only option she felt, and she immediately boldly crossed the threshold and was met with the agonizing wails that emanated from the chained figure.

Pragma's glare over her shoulder was as sharp as knives at the visitor from the portal before she broke into a full run. She was shocked to see anyone go to attack the wolf, and Pragma felt horrible about it. It made her stomach roll, or perhaps it was the sound of the chains and those loud sounds of anguish that shook her to her soul. What are you doing? She called out at the nearest wolf, a very shaggy Dimas who was attacking, It isn't his fault! Pragma shrieked before she tried to move and defend the chained wolf.
