Barbosa is a warm, sensual, and fiercely devoted wandering healer, carrying kindness wherever her feet may take her. She sees no worth in judging another by their past, believing every soul deserves compassion, no matter how troubled or flawed. With a naturally motherly heart, she gives freely, often tending to the wounds of others before ever considering her own.

Yet Barbosa is no solemn saint. She delights in laughter, indulgence, and the simple pleasures of life, savouring each moment as though it were a gift. To her, life is meant to be felt deeply through touch, taste, laughter, and love, and she intends to make the most of every beautiful moment it offers.

A man of debauchery and obnoxious sins, Shǒurén is strung up by a noose born from nepotism. He finds himself doing the bare minimum to remain at his official post, alcohol ridding his mind of the loneliness that seeps in at night. He is a very intelligent man, kept around for his capability, not his damning persona.

A strategist amongst men, Shǒurén keeps little about himself public knowledge, his front of roguish behaviour a mask for his sinful desire for the untouchable; the unobtainable.

His arrogance is paramount, the mortar for the cracks in his soul. Without it, he will be on display for what he is; a monster of perversions, one to prefers the flesh of men to the vixen's venom.
