Yoshiro didn’t know what to expect or, better yet,
who he’d expect to come descending down those snow tipped mountain tops. The bard had made sure he looked presentable in the face of who he assumed would be their leaders. Hair smoothed down with not a strand out of place, crow feathers decorating his scruff (by his own, personal style), and standing tall and dignified for all who approached to see. Carrying the pride of his homeland with him (Even though he’d currently been freezing his ass off right now). Seriously, he should’ve brought a hide to drape over his back! What he had not expected, however, was for a child to walk over to them.
Running, actually,
running towards him.
A freckled young girl with hibiscus pools for eyes and locs like the sunset. She smiled brightly at them as she approached, and his gaze became owlish in surprise of the discovery. Yet, all the same, a bit of amusement couldn’t help but bubble within his chest, and a shared smile came upon his maw as he faced her. Placing a paw on his chest, he bowed his head politely in greeting.
Good day to you, young miss! I hope you and your pack don’t mind a few visitors….
Not too long after, a voice called after the young girl — loud and commanding the attention of all that stood near. A tall, rugged woman came descending down the mountains, next. Layered with colors of the earth beneath melted snow. Though one would think her coat had not matched the white winters which dominated the biome, her physique and stature was certainly built for it. The bard could tell from how she moved through the rocky terrain with ease. She’d welcomed them enthusiastically, introducing the domain the stood upon, and Yoshiro would once again dip his crown in respect of the woman who’d approached.
A pleasure to meet the wolves of Nordfall on this fine afternoon!
He was pronouncing that correctly…right?
I am Yoshirō, Baron of the Fujiwara Dynasty.
Raising his head up, his head turns to the white ghost at his side.
I came with my travel companion, huntress Kaguya Yomenimoakarui.
Then, he turns back to the northern woman and the young girl beside her.
Empress Izumi has sent us on an expedition to explore the northern packs, in hopes to become better acquainted with the groups we have yet to meet. I hope we haven’t come at a bad time…
His lavender gaze, for a beat, looked around and noticed that sir
Aosagi had not followed them up the mountains. Did…he not want to come with after all?
Ah, perhaps he was being too sensitive. Besides, the blue heron had no obligation to follow them up the mountain. Even so….it would’ve been nice to have him along.
Yoshi shook his head, straightening back up and meeting the two Northfall women with a smile.
Now then, to whom do I owe the pleasure of being greeted by?
